Accepted payment methods:
We accept direct deposits, cash and credit card payments for in person rental bookings. Online rental bookings can pay via credit card only. Stripe is the Payment Platform used for the online payment transaction with Whiteroom rental products. 

Payment period:
Credit card payments will be processed immediately. Full amount of the payment is required to be made at the time of the booking.   

Additional fees:

• Credit Card processing fees of 3% will apply.

Pickup times:
Rental equipment can be picked up from 3pm the day before your hire period (as available).

Product return:
Please return your rental gear before 6.00pm on your final day – additional fees are charged for late returns:

• Return after 6.30pm – ¥5,000 fee
• Return the day after rental period – ¥25,000 fee

Rental product damage and loss:

• All rentals include basic insurance which will cover normal wear and tear / minor damage and scratches to edges, top sheet and base of the skis/board.
• If there is extensive damage from misuse of equipment (such as skiing on roads), but it can be repaired, the fee will be ¥30,000.
• Where equipment is damaged beyond repair or lost, a payable insurance excess equalling 10 days rental of that specific item will be charged.  

Returns and exchanges for defective product:

• In the event of faulty equipment please contact our rental office staff via [email protected] and we will refund the full price of your rental, or exchange with another product.
• Customers are able swap equipment when renting for multiple days. This means you can swap your skis or board for a different size/style, based on availability.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations of paid rental bookings made more than 7 days  hours prior to the rental start date will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations/reductions of paid reservations within 6 days will not be refunded. Instead, guests will receive store credit of equal value to the cancelled portion of the booking, valid for the current season in either Furano or Niseko.
